Meet Gina

I am a registered psychologist with 20 years experience supporting individuals through periods of psychological distress, change, and recovery. My work is grounded in a warm, non-judgemental approach that values safety, collaboration, and respect for each person’s lived experience.


I work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or impacted by trauma, life transitions, or ongoing stressors. My aim is to provide a therapeutic space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood.


The therapeutic methods I use are evidence-based, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and brain based. Meaning I use scientifically proven methods that respect the ways life experiences, nervous system responses, and each persons unique brain shape how we think, feel, and relate to the world. I place strong emphasis on safety, pacing, and consent within therapy, and I tailor treatment to suit each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.


I believe that healing occurs in two ways through therapeutic relationships and neuroplasticity. We start with building a therapeutic relationship that is professional yet human, compassionate yet clear, and always centred on your goals and values. Neuroplasticity is the brain’s natural ability to change, adapt, and form new connections throughout life in response to experience, learning, and healing experiences. In therapy, this means that with the right support and conditions, the brain can release stuck traumas be they large or small, develop new patterns that support recovery, emotional regulation, and wellbeing.
